Combat Sketches

As Sergeant Brummett Echohawk entered combat during the invasion of Sicily as a Sapper Team leader, the thought of documenting the war with his incredible gift would soon come to light. This God-given talent would have an incredible impact on the young sergeant.  The Brummett Echohawk Project works to share this unique history through more than forty sketches he completed on the field of battle. After the war, Echohawk would utilize his work to reconnect with those he sketched and served with from all over the world. This part of his legacy is carried on today through our project. We hope you enjoy these amazing stories.
